El Ranchon Family Mexican Restaurant

The service is fabulous. It's very quick. The food is very good there's a lot of it and it's well made. We love going there. The ambiance is very cozy and very Mexican-like

El Ranchon is a hometown favorite so there may be some bias in the review. The service is always great and the food is consistently good. The chips come with salsa and pico de gallo, and the pico de gallo is one of those things I get cravings for. The menu is standard Mexican restaurant fair with various combinations and specialties. They have my favorite shrimp fajitas of anywhere. I also love the fajita burrito. It is always busy, and if you are local you always see at least 2-3 tables of people you know. It's open fairly late to accommodate post sports and school events. They have a fairly large event room in the back for birthday parties and other get-togethers that is used regularly.

My wife an d I eat here every time we're staying at Star Lake. Staff is pretty consistent and always nice. I like the food. I mean, come on, it's Mexican food, so it is supposed to taste like Mexican food. And it does! All the critics need to have a Negra Modelo and chill.

El Ranchon is our favorite Mexican Food restaurant. Always fast service, great selection & served hot every time. The sangrias are fantastic. Carnie Asada is so flavorful & cooked to perfection. Plenty of delicious foods on a plate. Since it's close to home for us, we stop there often. When we have friends in town, we take them to El Ranchon. 5 star, all the way.

We really enjoy coming here. The service is quick. Food is consistent. The cost isn't ridiculous. It's decent food. Glad to have something around here that meets the need for Mexican food when I'm craving it.

Food is pretty good, and staff is pretty nice. Not incredible, but a good place to go when your hungry for some decent grub.

Stopped in while in town on a camping trip. I've driven by this place plenty of times but this was our first visit. The place was very clean and looked great. The tables and chairs all looked brand new, the place is really in good shape and being taken care of very well. My wife is really picky about cleanliness so this was a major thing. Props to whoever is in charge of keeping the place looking good, they are doing a great job. We ordered a Chicken Chimichanga for the wife, she likes hers with no sauce because she doesn't handle spicy food well. I went with the Chicken Fajita Burrito. That thing is huge, bring an appetite. The wife was extremely happy with the flavors of her dish and I found mine to be exactly what I was wanting. The house salsa is great, really loved it, very flavorful. The Pico was also amazing. Service was very friendly and attentative. I get that they weren't super busy so it's easy to attend to the 3 tables, but the staff was very friendly and really made sure we were taken care of. I was super pleased with everyone's attitudes, which matters more now than ever. This place definitely goes on our list of places we will visit again.
